Well, lets put it this way: When the Game Section was previously opened, there would be a mass amount of posts-per-day in this section alone. This would, in-turn, bump all the more important (More important and/or relevant discussions than then ones found in the forum games section) threads off the home page. This makes the site look like a home to spamming, in my opinion. So when I say don't spam, I'm basically saying keep it to a maximum of 2 or 3 posts-per-day in this section. The other administrators/moderators and I will keep a close eye on this forum so that what happened in the past stays in the past. And if that means removing this section permanently, then so be it. When this place was open last time, the only threads we saw that were active and taking over the last foruim threads section were these game threads. They ruined any general discussion activity by pushing those threads away from the homepage. In order for that not to happen again, use these guidelines: 1. When you make 1 post in a games thread, make 1 post in a regular/discussion thread. 1. Only join 2 games threads per month, dont join em all. That might work, up to near to figure it out haha. i doubt this one could overcome the general discussion this time, we seem to all talk alot in general, i suppose we like discussing the in-depth stuff in the anime others miss  i usually post about 5-8 in general section and maybe the odd one or 2 in off topic about about 2-4 here (depending if anyone replies) is this ok moderation or should i cut it down a bit? |
