Oh yeah... I swear they were put in just to fill time. Given how useless they were to the plotline...

Not entirely useless. One of them cleared out a good portion of the batshit-insane faceless Mariko clones after their uprising (Resident Evil Diclonius, anyone?) and saved Arakawa and her vaccine that in turn saved the world. I say the world because the Diclonius were so much like us, with their power, they would have ripped it apart faster than we could.

But for the most part, they were just a prized military toy that went nowhere. And to think----not even one of us Yanks was involved in making that mess. I really wish we'd found out if Japan's government got exposed for initially helping Kakuzawa.

Jeez Mariko. I never knew that one little girl could do that much damage to a girl that's older that her.

I feel bad for Lucy....and this episode is so sad.... because its the ending!!!!!!!
